Updates at CFR – June 2016

We wanted to tell everyone about some updates going on at the gym as we get ready for the summer months. We have exciting new programs going on that we want you all to know about.


This month we will be testing a workout at the start of the month and then again at the end of the month. This is a fun way to see yourself progress with your fitness over a month long period. We will be testing the workout “Helen” on Monday June 6th, and then again on June 27th. We want to make sure everyone is moving forward with their fitness and this is a fun way of tracking your progress. Be sure to make down your times in wodify so we can see the improvement for the second time.


As many of you have noticed we have expanded our gym to the other side of the parking lot. We want everyone to know that this is a part of our gym that everyone can use. This is open for all fitness levels, you can work on a skill, do some extra lifting, or do another workout. Anytime that we are open the other side is open too.  Ask a coach if you need any assistance or want to have a tour of the other side and equipment over there.


Summer is approaching fast and it’s a good time to reassess your nutrition habits. We know nutrition can be the hardest part about living a healthy lifestyle. Nutrition is the base of our fitness and we need to make sure we are taking the right approach. We now have a program that will help you get your eating in order and track your progress. We are excited to be having our 3rd annual member games. Every year we hold a in house fun and friendly competition. This year we will be having the member games in August. We will be doing teams of 4 and will be having a fun filled day along with great prizes for winners. All fitness levels are welcome to join as the workouts can be scaled for anyone. Stay tuned for more details about the workouts and be thinking about who you want to partner up with. We will post a sign up form this week!
