Before we dive into that we need to know that “better” is a relative term. We need to know where we are at so we can properly asses where “better” will get us. We don’t want to set ourselves up for failure by over shooting our better. If you can make, it move on to water.
Start small and have awareness for what you are putting into your body. We have a nutrition program that will se t you up for success, ask us about it!
If you aren’t getting sleep it is time to change! Sleep is more important than grinding out an extra workout at the gym. If you can’t recover you are not building anything! Start by giving yourself more time to go to sleep. Turn off the electronics 30min before you go to bed and let your mind unwind. Sleep will change your health for the better!
A lot of what we do revolves around stress. Out jobs, family, and even the gym are a form of stress. Stress in amounts is good for us to grow but too much will leave us run down. Have a routine to destress. Spend less time on your phone and more time outside. Practice breathing, or read to unwind from the day. It may seem simple or overlooked but distressing will maximize your time in the gym and in life.
One of the biggest ways to maximize your time will fit in to all the others. Planning lets your be in control of you. How many times have you let something slip by our do something that was not productive. If you plan and stick with your plan your will find yourself using your time better. The more you do this the better you will get. You can’t just wish to be better you have to plan for it!
